We offer RYA Mileage building on some trips. Last year, we did two  – Chester NS to Charlottetown PEI, 300+ miles, and Charlottetown PE to Chester NS, 300+ miles.  These trips  cruised along Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore and in the Northumberland Strait.  The Eastern Shore is largely beautiful wilderness and the Northumberland Strait is almost fog free  Both areas are a cruising mecca.

Mile building is not a course. It is a chance to accumulate sea miles that can count toward a course such as RYA Coastal Skipper, or a Certificate of Competence exam such as the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore.

During the mile building trip you will get not only the miles but the added benefit of coaching from Dave, who is the Principal of Discovery Sailing, and a Yachtmaster Instructor/Examiner.

In 2018 we are proposing 2 trips – Chester to Saint John, NB and Saint John back to Chester.  Cruising in the Bay of Fundy!
